About MyFinanceMyntra

We build financial tools that explain their answers. Most calculators hand you a number and stop — which is the easy part. Understanding what the number means, and what to do about it, is the part that actually changes outcomes.

What we do

MyFinanceMyntra is a personal finance platform for the United States. We publish calculators covering the decisions that move real money — mortgages, debt payoff, retirement, investing, taxes and budgeting — and long-form guides explaining the reasoning behind each one.

Every calculation on this site ends with a plain-English analysis: a summary of what the numbers mean, the risks worth knowing about, the savings opportunities you might be missing, and a concrete next step — each with the dollar impact quantified. That is the whole point of the product.

We are expanding deliberately rather than quickly. A smaller set of genuinely excellent, deeply explained tools serves readers far better than a large directory of thin ones, and we would rather earn trust slowly than volume fast.

Who we are

MyFinanceMyntra is operated by MyFinanceMyntra, a company registered in the United States at 100 Congress Ave, Suite 2000, Austin, TX, 78701, United States, with our operations team based at 1875, Ardee City, Gurugram, Haryana, 122003, India. Our content is produced by that editorial team, working from primary sources — the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the CFPB and federal banking regulators — and from published academic research on retirement withdrawal rates and consumer credit.

We are a publisher of educational financial information. We are not a licensed financial advisor, broker, lender or tax preparer, and we do not sell financial products or manage anyone's money.

How we make money

This site is free to use and funded by advertising displayed alongside our content. We think readers are entitled to know how a publisher is paid, because that is where bias tends to enter.

Advertisements are selected by third-party advertising networks, not by us, and their appearance is never an endorsement. No advertiser or commercial partner sees, reviews or approves our editorial content before publication, and commercial relationships never determine our conclusions. Where we participate in an affiliate arrangement, we disclose it on the page it applies to.

Our full approach is set out in our editorial policy.

How we handle your data

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The salary, debts, balances and home prices you enter are never transmitted to us and never stored on our servers. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for financial account credentials — for anything, ever.

We use analytics to understand which pages are useful and advertising to fund the site; both are described in full in our privacy policy and cookie policy.

Our editorial standards

Every tool states its assumptions openly — the tax year, the rates and the modeling simplifications it makes. We would rather show our work than present a black box. Tax brackets, standard deductions and FICA wage bases are reviewed annually and dated on every page.

State-level figures are statewide approximations intended as realistic starting values, not quotes, and every input remains editable so you can replace our defaults with your real numbers.

We do not display user ratings, reviews or testimonials we have not genuinely collected. If you see a number on this site, it came from a calculation or a source — never from marketing.

What we are not

Nothing on this site is personalized investment, tax or legal advice. Our calculators use simplified models that will not match your circumstances exactly. For decisions that matter, verify the figures independently and consult a qualified professional who knows your full situation. Our disclaimer sets out the limits of what our tools can tell you, in detail.
