We are not a licensed financial advisor, broker, tax preparer, lender or attorney. Nothing on this website is personalized investment, tax, legal or financial advice. Our calculators use simplified models that will not match your circumstances exactly. Before making any financial decision that matters, verify the figures independently and consult a qualified professional who knows your full situation.
1. Educational purpose only
All content on myfinancemyntra.com — including calculators, guides, examples, glossaries and responses from our AI coach — is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is written for a general audience and cannot account for your income, debts, tax position, family situation, risk tolerance, health, employment stability or goals.
Using this site does not create an advisor-client, fiduciary or professional relationship of any kind between you and MyFinanceMyntra.
2. Not financial, investment, tax or legal advice
We do not recommend specific investments, securities, lenders, insurers, tax strategies or financial products. Where our content compares options — a 15-year versus 30-year mortgage, avalanche versus snowball debt payoff, Roth versus traditional contributions — it describes general trade-offs, not a recommendation for you.
Tax rules, lending criteria, benefit thresholds and financial regulations change frequently and vary by state and by individual circumstance. A qualified professional — a CFP, CPA, enrolled agent or attorney — is the right source for advice about your situation.
3. How our calculators work, and their limits
Our calculators are deterministic models. They apply standard financial formulas to the numbers you enter. They are useful for understanding relationships and comparing scenarios, and they are not predictions.
Specific limitations you should know about:
- Federal tax constants — brackets, standard deduction and FICA wage bases — reflect tax year 2025. Figures change annually.
- State income tax is applied as a blended approximation of a progressive schedule, not a full bracket-by-bracket calculation. Local income taxes, such as New York City's, are not modeled.
- State-level property tax rates, insurance premiums, median home prices and median incomes are statewide averages used as starting values. Your county, municipality, lender and insurer will differ, often substantially.
- Investment projections assume a constant rate of return. Real markets do not deliver constant returns, and sequence of returns materially affects real outcomes, particularly during withdrawals.
- PMI, closing costs, maintenance and transaction costs are estimated using common industry percentages, not quotes for your property.
- Results do not account for fees, penalties, credits, phase-outs, benefit cliffs or one-off circumstances specific to you.
Every input on every tool is editable precisely so you can replace our defaults with your actual figures. We publish our assumptions on each tool page rather than hiding them, because a model you cannot inspect is a model you should not trust.
4. About the AI coach
Our AI coach provides structured, general educational guidance and routes you to the relevant calculator. It does not give personalized financial advice, does not know your circumstances beyond what you type, and can be incomplete or wrong. Treat its output as a starting point for your own research, never as a decision.
Do not send confidential information — account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or credentials — to the AI coach or through any form on this site.
5. Accuracy and currency of information
We work to keep content accurate and current, and we date every tool and guide so you can see when it was last reviewed. Even so, we make no warranty that content is complete, accurate, current or suitable for any purpose. Financial information becomes outdated quickly. Rates, tax law, contribution limits and lending standards all change, sometimes mid-year.
If you spot an error, please tell us at Contact@myfinancemyntra.com. We correct mistakes promptly and note material corrections — see our editorial policy.
6. Investment and financial risk
All investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee or indicate future results. The value of investments can fall as well as rise. Historical averages used in our projections — such as long-run market returns or inflation rates — describe the past and are not promises about the future.
Borrowing carries risk too. Taking on debt you cannot service can lead to default, foreclosure, repossession, lasting credit damage and legal action.
7. Third-party content and links
We link to external resources such as government agencies, regulators and financial institutions. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
8. Advertising and affiliate disclosure
This site displays third-party advertising, which is how we keep it free to use. Advertisements are selected by advertising networks, not by us, and their appearance is not an endorsement or recommendation of any advertised product or provider.
Where we participate in affiliate arrangements, we disclose it clearly on the relevant page. Affiliate relationships never determine our editorial conclusions, and no advertiser or partner reviews or approves our content before publication. See our editorial policy for how we separate revenue from editorial judgement.
9. United States focus
Content on this site is written for a United States audience and reflects US tax rules, financial products and regulations. It may be inaccurate, inapplicable or misleading if applied elsewhere.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyFinanceMyntra and its contributors accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise — arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or anything on it. You use this site and act on its information entirely at your own risk and discretion.
Full terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
